Jobs On Offer:

  • Location: Mackay or Bowen Basin
  • Roster: Monday - Friday 38hrs + OT or 2/2 off roster (various sites in Bowen Basin)
  • Hours Of Work: 8 -12hr shifts
  • Duration: Temp to Perm Opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and coach buses.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using trade qualifications and experience.
  • Manage parts inventory and order supplies for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to schedule maintenance and resolve issues.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement.
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies with prompt repairs

Successful Candidate must hold:

  • MR Drivers Licence (as a minimum) and reliable vehicle
  • Trade qualified – Cert III Heavy Commercial Mechanical or equivalent
  • Experience with maintenance & repairs to heavy commercial fleet

Advantageous

  • Experience with diagnostics via computer-controlled systems
  • HR Drivers Licence
