About the Role
- A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Mackay.
As a Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy vehicles at our modern workshop. The types of vehicles we service include Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino, and Freightliner.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Complete general servicing tasks on heavy vehicles.
- Diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning, and hydraulic repairs in accordance with job cards.
- Supportive and collaborative management to ensure your success.
- Fully supplied PPE.
- Work at a modern workshop with top-of-the-line diagnostic equipment.
- Develop your career with various training and development options, both in-house and through our suppliers.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (minimum certificate III).
- Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
- Previous diagnostic investigation experience.
- Be able to maintain a high degree of safety and adhere to HSE policies and procedures.
- Be able to maintain quality and urgency in your work.
