About The Role

The Support Services Processing team is a key component to supporting our critical operations by providing superior service and support to internal and external customers. As a Processing Officer you will be required to ensure accuracy and timeliness with the completion of any workflows assigned to you or the team including but not limited to Journal Authorisations, Payment Requests, Recipient Numbers, Electronic Payments, RTGS payments etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  •         Manage incoming and outgoing files, overdrawn savings accounts, personal and group inboxes and Ultracs Tasks Lists.
  •           Complete tasks associated with Banking Services; sweep facilities, personal cheque processing, Visa Debit Card processing, Account Switching, direct debit stops/cancellations/reactivations
  •          Ensure you stay on top of any assigned training and engage in job rotation to enhance skill levels and provide scalability within Support Services
  •          Assist in the detection of fraud; internal & external by escalating matters of concern and meet all physical & data security and privacy obligations.
  •          Work co-operatively with all staff and external partners to achieve the company’s objectives, assigned tasks & duties
  •          Participate in problem solving initiatives and innovation to enhance the organization's capabilities
  •         Follow directions from Supervisors, Heads of Departments and in particular the Chief Operating Officer

·         Undertake extra responsibility in processing Start and End of Day processing, End of Month, Quarter and Year Processing (irrespective of public holidays and non working days)

About You

Coupled with your excellent & effective problem solving skills, you will also need to;

  •          Be a critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  •          Have a positive attitude towards change
  •          Provide exceptional customer service and continually strive to exceed Auswide Bank expected service standards
  •          Be organized, self-motivated and have the ability to work with limited supervision or instruction.
  •          Have intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
