The Company

Our client is one of the leading equipment suppliers across a number of industries including forestry, quarrying and construction.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you play a critical role in driving growth, expanding the company's client base and ensuring the company's long-term success. Therefore, our client is looking for an individual with an esteemed industry understanding who can demonstrate resilience and adaptability in the current market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development of a sales pipeline through new business sales activities
  • Utilizing Sales Force to update sales forecast and future business
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and solutions
  • Presenting and finalizing proposals
  • Attend sales meetings and work closely with the team to share information and collaborate

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within an Industrial and Mining background
  • Proven B2B sales track record
  • Enjoys hunting new business
  • A varied skillset & ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
