Why do we have this role @ Koala

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Creative Production Manager for a 10-month maternity leave contract, to oversee and produce Growth marketing content for organic and paid performance channels - Meta, TikTok and YouTube. This role is critical in establishing streamlined processes within the Growth marketing and Creative teams to produce a diverse range of high-quality content, driving the growth and engagement of our audience. 

Requirements

What key responsibilities does this role have @ Koala?

  • Manage the development of Growth marketing briefs from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, aligning them with business targets and ensuring content is hitting key efficiency targets.
  • Complete shoot execution for Growth team including pre-production, on-set lead, post-production and logistic implementation such as call sheets, schedules, talent bookings, risk assessments, budget management, contracts, usage negotiation etc.
  • Is the main POC for the Growth team from a creative perspective, representing the team in weekly stand-ups, managing project requests, and working closely with creative leads and Growth marketers to proactively clarify requirements and deliverables when there is ambiguity.
  • Lead our UGC content generation across third party platforms, managing talent selection, briefing, feedback rounds and editing of assets fit-for-channel.  
  • Mentor Junior Motion Editor on a day-to-day basis, managing scheduling/traffic management, ensuring they are set up for success and have all requirements for briefs to produce channel-specific assets to drive business impact. 
  • Drive process improvements cross-functionally to maximise efficiency and quality of our output, particularly across paid performance channels. Be a workflow champion within the marketing department. 
  • Analyse the performance of ads to identify concept changes and opportunities, breaking down insight into actionable next steps via creative briefs. 
  • Ensure all assets produced adhere to the Koala brand guidelines, production standards and working practices.
  • Oversee a clear testing roadmap & creative delivery cadence for paid social, organic social, and promotional content.
  • Stay up to date with different marketing platforms and optimised content for those platforms.

Ideal background…

  • 4+ years of creative experience at a start-up, big tech company or agency
  • An organized and proactive “doer” with exceptional multitasking skills—someone who will take the initiative to make things happen
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to balance multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Monday, Asana, Jira or other workflow management system experience 
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret creative data sets and derive insights to optimise performance
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
