Senior Contracts Administrator

The Role.
Working on exciting projects in the Orange region and its surrounds, the role requires an experienced Senior Contract Administrator who is self-motivated, eager to develop and capable of working on large projects with major clients.
The role requires you to take ownership of the client’s day to day commercial and contractual needs including tendering, procurement, preparing and negotiating variations, drafting contractual correspondence, and assisting in development of claims. Client, Subcontractor and Supplier management is paramount and an integral part of this commercial role. You will get the opportunity to work on both upstream and downstream activities through tendering, delivery, contract close and commercial settlement.
Requirements.
- Tertiary qualifications in Building and Construction, Quantity Surveying or Project Management, Certificate IV or higher.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with the Construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator.
- Proven ability to assess commercial and contractual risks, identify and implement appropriate controls and escalate where necessary.
- Must have experience in the procurement and management of major subcontract packages for large scale projects.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, work collaboratively and drive customer-focused outcomes.
- Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Experience in Jobpac and Procore software desirable, but not mandatory.
