About the role

The Lead Strategic Talent Sourcing leads proactive talent sourcing for school-based positions across NSW, to inform critical strategic workforce initiatives and projects across School Workforce.

Essential requirement

·Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

·Proven experience across one or a range of HR/Recruitment strategic functions, with a focus specific to this role on contemporary and value-adding recruitment sourcing within complex environments.

Key knowledge and experience

·Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

About you

·You will be collaborative, agile, and disciplined about delivering outcomes for all students of NSW

·You are excited by challenges and thrive working in an environment where you can problem solve for your clients and recommend innovative talent sourcing strategies that you know will make a difference.

·You are a seasoned talent sourcing strategist with previous experience leading recruitment projects, creating talent pipelines while conducting research, analysing data and reviewing complex workforce strategies and policy issues to drive informed decision-making.

·You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with internal & external stakeholders and potential candidates

·You have a results-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results

·You are confident navigating multiple platforms as well as consulting with subject matter experts to identify and design fit for purpose strategies that are responsive to workforce initiatives across the School Workforce Directorate

·You have in-depth knowledge of various sourcing channels, including social media platforms, job boards, and professional networks.
