The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Coffs Harbour team as a Showroom Sales Consultant - Estimator. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

This opportunity will provide the perfect mix of sales, design, and ability to build relationships with both residential clients and trade professionals

What Will You Do?

You will be the face of BlueScope providing expert advice and drafting designs. This will be mix of face-to-face sales/customer service role dealing with builders, trades, and DIY market. You will be passionate about our products, use your product knowledge to provide a customised solution to our customers. this will also see you: 

  • analysing plans and specifications to prepare estimate material requirements using our internal CAD system to generate designs and quotations. Assisting customers with their purchasing decision by identifying their needs and wants and suggesting suitable options
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders such as transport, warehouse, and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timelines.
  • interacting with internal and external stakeholders over the phone face to face and email, managing quotes and queries
  • meeting and greeting clients that come into the showroom providing a professional sales experience

With your positive attitude and willingness to grow and develop yourself in the role you will bring:

  • experience working in a customer service/sales environment
  • high attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • a strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • a willingness to grow, learn and develop yourself
  • demonstrated computer competency using estimating software or similar.
