: Working with Community Services Directorate (CSD) offers you the opportunity to directly contribute to supporting the Canberra Community. Everyday our diverse workforce collaborates and drives client centred services to assist the community in creating a safe and equitable environment across the ACT.The Case Aid Services team supports both Youth Justice and Adolescent Services (YJAS) and Child, Youth and Family Safety by providing case aid management and case aids to support front line areas with administrative supports. Other supports provided by this team include taking phone calls from members of the public, arranging quotes for emergency supports for vulnerable families or young people and arranging personal documentation for children and young people in care.
The Children, Youth and Families (CYF) Case Aid is responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Case Practitioner teams as well as the wider CYF branch.
The Case Aid role is required to assist with the delivery of best possible life outcomes for children and young people across a wide range of administrative support functions to ensure our statutory obligations are met.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) - Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - . Experience and/or a desire to work in a community services environment is essential. Driver’s license (C class) is essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and database systems is essential. Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.Notes : A merit pool may be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
