Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is key in the delivery of tooling and die setting tasks. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety within the manufacturing process. Key purposes include: 

Reviewing schedules and preparing tooling/equipment to undertake die changesSetup tooling and monitor pipe extrusion, moulding and fabrication processes in line with relevant work instructions, setup sheets and specificationsLiaise with the production department to resolve any issues when requiredConduct materials handling where requiredComplete required documentation pre and post die/tooling change

About you  

Certificate II in Engineering or relevant experience in die setting, tooling, injection moulding, extrusion, fabrication and plastics manufacturingHigh Risk Work Licensed: Forklift, Dogging - DG, Bridge and Gantry Crane - CBMinimum 5 years’ experience (or equivalent) in high speed, continuous manufacturing maintenance and/or similar industry experience in engineering/maintenance environmentDemonstrated experience with automation and industrial plant and equipmentExcellent mechanical aptitude
