APG is currently seeking a Gardening Labourer for a 3- Month contract within a Mount Annan Government Sector.

Location: Mount Annan

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $35.00 Per Hour + Super

**Key Accountabilities of the role**:
The Gardener Labourer is responsible for assisting with the completion of work tasks within the Turf and Open space portfolio. This involves completing a range of labouring tasks associated with specialised turf tools and equipment.

**Day to day duties include**:

- Assisting Horticulturalists, Arborists and Greenkeepers to conduct work tasks in various turf and grassland locations across site
- Brushcutting of various turf and grassland areas across a range of diverse landscapes
- Mowing using of machinery including Toro Wings, Toro 360
- Leaf blowing of roads, pathways, turf areas
- Hand watering of fine turf areas
- Hand weeding, mulching, pruning, planting (on occasion)
- Use of small tools and equipment including hand blowers, brushcutters backpack blowers, pruning saw, secateurs etc
- Assisting ad hoc with duties relevant to the portfolio

**Essential Criteria**
- Some gardening experience essential
- Prior knowledge of equipment used in Horticulture
- Understanding of safe work practices
