The Role

We are a highly successful, stable, and secure organisation looking to hire a Sales Support Administrator to join our brilliant Software Solutions team in Melbourne. This role will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a fast-paced role that will keep you on your toes with no two days the same, and the ability to work within a fun and dynamic team.

You will provide outstanding customer service and administrative & sales support to our Software Solutions customers and internal sales teams.

Day-to-day, you will: 

  • Communicate effectively by phone and email with a broad range of customers, internal sales teams and vendors.
  • Prepare quotes and process orders in an accurate and timely manner, working to strict SLAs.
  • Prepare excel reports for customers and management.
  • Customer portal pricing input and pricing maintenance.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of software licensing.
  • Ensure customer and sales data is current and accurate.
  • Manage order ETAs and returns expeditiously.
  • Assist Account Executive/Managers with forecasting, account planning updates, and debtor management.
  • Maintain customer specific process and customer profiles and templates.
  • Escalate to Team Leader backorder and order fulfilment issues.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working in hospitality, retail or a customer service background.
  • A strong verbal and written communicator, dealing professionally with both internal staff and external customers.
  • Excellent organisation skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and time management skills to meet strict SLAs and deadlines.
  • Effective negotiation and problem resolution skills to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a team and also manage your own workload.
  • Someone who is motivated, proactive and has a positive attitude to their work, with the ability to pick up new information quickly.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy, including experience with MS Office suite products, particularly Excel and Outlook.
