St Augustine’s Primary School, Rivervale is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Pre-Primary Teacher. This temporary position has the possibility of continuing in 2025. St Augustine’s Primary School, Rivervale is a co-educational, single stream school from Kindergarten to Year Six located approximately 5km from the Perth CBD. Selection Criteria
We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our staff team. The successful applicant will:
+ Be prepared to support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education as articulated in the Bishops of WA Mandate for Catholic Schools and the Vision and Mission of the school
+ Possess a working knowledge of the Religious Education guidelines, Western Australian curriculum, National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
+ Demonstrate pedagogical skills with a flexible, collaborative and student-centred approach.
+ Demonstrate the ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to guide the classroom teaching program and practices, catering for the needs of all students.
+ Demonstrate the ability to set and follow clear expectations and build relationships with students for effective classroom management.
+ Have well developed ICT skills with the ability to integrate technology to enrich the teaching and learning program.
+ Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of an energetic, committed and connected team.
+ Have highly honed organisational and interpersonal skills and show initiative, flexibility with a positive outlook.
+ Demonstrate the capacity and enthusiasm required to build community by being actively involved in the life of the school.
Qualifications Required
+ Relevant four year qualifications.
+ Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or a willingness to attain this).
