Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Education Teacher / Sports Coordinator to join our team at Catholic Education Western Australia. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students in the Primary (Junior School) and coordinating College-based and inter-school sporting events for the Junior School.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Physical Education to students in the Primary (Junior School)
  • Coordinate College-based and inter-school sporting events for the Junior School
  • Develop and implement engaging Physical Education programs that cater to individual differences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful school year

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA)
  • Excellent planning and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community
  • Preparedness to be fully involved in school activities such as camps
