We are looking for a Sous Chef to lead & inspire the team in our popular Black Bar and Grill. Working closely with the Restaurant Executive Chef, you will support the team to deliver a consistently high product in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities in the role are but are not limited to:

Be accountable for leading all aspects of team management Participate in menu preparation and pricing policies Develop training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions Ensure an open line of communication between the team, management and guests. Attract and retain the right talent into the business.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Experience in a similar role within an up-market grill venue (highly regarded) Experience managing a diverse team  Ability to work in a large corporate environment, using different computer systems and the skills to partner with different stakeholders
