As our Assistant Manager , reporting to the Venue Manager, you will lead your team to deliver the daily operations of the venue Black Bar & Grill .

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the opportunity to create a unique dining experience for our guests, take good care, and lead a dynamic team with integrity.

 

A few of your responsibilities:      

  • Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targets
  • Oversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management
  • Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of service standards and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure that all areas of the business comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol program and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act
  • Demonstrate to guests and team member a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of The Star Qualities at all times    

 

What we are looking for:    

  • Management experience within in a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
  • Highly organised and eager, with a high attention to detail
  • Flexible availability for work over a 7 day roster
