About the Opportunity

Securecorp is excited to provide an expression of interest for retail security officers.

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will have the chance to:

  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling assigned premises.
  • Responding to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and providing the necessary support to associated stakeholders.
  • Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with visitors, customers and site management.
  • Implement effective strategies for engaging with young people.
  • Control access to and exit from premises.
  • Investigate and prepare reports - Incident report writing and data logs.
  • CCTV Monitoring.

Key Selection Criteria

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Must Have Current Security License and Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Proven Experience within the Security Industry – Retail preferred.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated Ability to work within a team environment or autonomously.
  • Dependable, reliable and action orientated with a strong desire to achieve.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.
