Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Sunnybank Private Hospital is looking to employ a Registered Nurse for their ICU Unit. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to support patient safety
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide junior nursing team members
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Sunnybank Private Hospital is a 122 bed facility located on the Southside of Brisbane, offering acute medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. Sunnybank Private Hospital (SPH) is a vibrant and committed hospital that provides a range of coordinated healthcare services designed to deliver and improve the health and well being of the community it serves. It is situated approximately 13 kilometers south of the Brisbane CBD and is the first Private Hospital north of the Gold Coast.
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU desirable (or working towards)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently or within a team
- Basic computer skills
