About the opportunity

At Bolton Clarke, “Always safe” is a foundational value. In this position you will actively contribute to the achievement of Bolton Clarke’s s workers’ compensation and injury claims/case management strategies.
   
Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:

  • Assist in the implementation of best practice workers’ compensation and injury management strategies, initiatives and systems to continually improve current and future performance
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to the business on all workers’ compensation and injury management including early intervention and stay at work initiatives
  • Coordinate the rehabilitation of injured employees following an injury with support and guidance from the Senior Rehabilitation Adviser, including development and updating of return to work/rehabilitation programs, maintaining accurate case notes
  • Provide education to management and staff to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities in relation to workers’ compensation and injury management
  • Engage in workplace meetings, case conferences and claims reviews
  • Measure performance, trends and report on all workers’ compensation and injury management matters including external providers
  • Maintain data information in the injury management system/database
  • Occasional interstate travel from time to time


We would love to hear from you if you have  

  • Return to Work Coordinator Certification for VIC or equivalent experience
  • Experience in injury management and rehabilitation, or other relevant discipline
  • Experience in providing advice in workers’ compensation and injury rehabilitation/case management
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build constructive and effective relationships, and negotiate with and influence relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Organisational skills with demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, ensuring accurate timely record keeping and communication with key parties
  • Understanding and demonstrated application of legislation for claims and rehabilitation management, ideally for VIC
  • Allied Health Professional Qualifications (Desirable)
