Key Account Manager - Aggregates

Are you experienced in logistics, civil construction, or mining? We’reseeking a new team member to join us as a Key Account Manager –Aggregates. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in developing andnurturing Hanson’s relationships with customers in the Perth market.

Responsibilities:

1. Business Growth:  Identify opportunities to promote the Hanson brand to prospective customers and deliver exceptional service offerings across the Perth market.

2. Reporting Structure:  You’ll report to the Field Sales Manager and maintain a dotted line to the Supply Chain Manager for Aggregates.

3. Career Progression:  This role isn’t just about sales—it’s an opportunity to learn and advance within the organization. Explore positions in Logistics, Operations, Communications, and Technical domains.

4. Location Flexibility:  Base yourself in convenient locations such as Red Hill, Byford, and Rivervale, with the freedom to move between them.


Your Role:

Generate Business:  Efficiently follow up on potential customer leads to drive new business. Customer Relationship Management:  Maintain a pipeline of business activity from existing customers. Strategic Account Plans:  Formulate and coordinate delivery of account plans for both existing and potential customers, ensuring mutual business success. Effective Communication:  Conduct structured call plans, face-to-face presentations, and networking to communicate Hanson’s value proposition. Sales Targets:  Achieve territory/account sales volume targets and introduce new products. Administrative Tasks:  Handle daily administration tasks, including customer invoice control and quotations. Market Insights:  Regularly analyse the industry landscape and gather market intelligence.

Qualifications:

Proven Track Record:  Demonstrate achievement in logistics, construction materials, aggregates, or sales/account management. Civil Construction or Logistics Experience:  A background in civil construction or logistics will be highly regarded. Relationship-Driven:  Your positive and influential presence is key to building strong customer relationships.
