An industry-leading retail brand is seeking a Customer Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in a national loyalty program and data transformation initiative. Our client is investing heavily in digital innovation to create a seamless, unified customer experience across both online and in-store channels.
As part of a new membership program team, this role will drive advanced data solutions, leveraging a state-of-the-art Customer Data Platform (CDP) to enable sophisticated customer insights and engagement. You’ll have the opportunity to shape membership campaign and communication strategies, nurturing customer loyalty with actionable data.
The Role
Our client is seeking a Customer Data Analyst to transform customer data into actionable insights, enhancing loyalty and driving impactful customer experiences. This role involves tracking key performance indicators, analysing campaign effectiveness, and working closely with marketing teams to guide data-informed strategies. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying trends, creating customer segments for targeted campaigns, and supporting the brand’s data-driven growth approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Reporting: Build dashboards and analyse metrics like acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value.
- Campaign Analysis: Use SQL and Power BI to create data visualisations on campaign performance and segmentation for decision-making.
- Data Platform Management: Maintain data integrity within the CDP to support marketing campaigns with accurate data.
- Audience Segmentation: Identify and customise customer segments to boost engagement and conversion.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work with cross-functional teams to align data insights with strategic goals, supporting both short- and long-term objectives.
Background & Experience:
- Experience: Background in data analysis in customer insights or marketing analytics, with strong SQL and data visualisation skills within the retail, FMCG or consumer goods industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and CDP management, with expertise in data storytelling and insight generation.
- Analytical: Ability to transform data into actionable insights that support commercial and engagement goals.
- Communication: Skilled at presenting complex data in clear, visual formats for stakeholders.
- Cultural Fit: Team-oriented, adaptable, and analytical, thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment.
