An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Manager - Advanced Digital Metering & New Energy to join ServiceStream

About the Role

One of Australia largest advanced digital metering Specialist, Service Stream is seeking a National Manager, Advanced Metering (electricity, water) and New Energy (solar, PV and EV charge stations) to be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all projects undertaken within the portfolio and setting the strategic direction for future growth. Nature of position: Full time Location: Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria Reporting Line: Sector Lead - Network Services About the job: You will be responsible for: 

Direct oversight of all operational aspects of the business, 

Ensuring that multimillion dollar contracts operate and are managed in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to meet required financial objectives and maximise operational effectiveness.

Monitor the market for opportunities that support continued business growth and development across existing and new sectors

Developing strategic growth plans targeting the business’s medium- and long-term interests

Managing multiple clients' requirements,

Maintaining and building key client relationships, 

Leading and coordinating a large, multifaceted workforce. 

Providing leadership, management and motivation to encourage division employees to achieve excellence and work to their full potential.

About you:  You have the following skills, experience and qualifications: 

Minimum of 5 years’ people-management experience in large, high-volume operations (operational/field environment)

Experience in managing a multifaceted business entity, with a focus on operational excellence, profitability and developing growth opportunities. 

Financial management skills (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, P&L)

Experience in managing a contractor workforce.

Experience in managing large teams, 

Effective leadership skills, with the ability to act as a positive role model.

Experience in dealing with industrial relations issues.

Focus on quality and safety.

Intermediate-level Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook

Relevant technical/tertiary qualification (preferred)

Digital metering or new energy project experience (preferred)
