About the role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be an imperative member of the construction team by ensuring the project meets Australian standards and complies with legislative and regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities include:

Testing works to ensure compliance with contract specs. Understand relevant clients project specifications Ability to review specifications and drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies. Understanding of different material types and types of conformance testing required for material to be included in permanent works. Reviews and submits RFIs as required for each item of work to client’s representative. Resolve technical issues through consultation with the consulting engineer or client’s representative.

Skills and experience

Tertiary qualification in engineering preferred Current Driver’s License Team player with a positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project-Based Engineer in the construction engineering industry.
