Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Participation and teamwork in the hydraulic department / project team to achieve department and project goals.
  • Liaison with Clients, Architects, Builders, Contractors, Governing Authorities responsible for hydraulic infrastructure and approvals, hydraulic Suppliers and Contractors to maintain current and future trends, and Industry and Professional Organisations, representing Floth Pty Ltd.
  • Plans and designs equipment and processes for water and waste materials, assesses the impact of water and waste materials on the environment in accordance with client requirements to meet Australian Standards/Building Code of Australia (BCA) requirements and to comply with the standards and quality expected of Floth Pty Ltd under the management and instruction of a Senior Engineer.
  • Preparation of specifications reports and documentation to meet client requirements, Australian Standards/Building Code of Australia (BCA) requirements and to comply with the standards and quality expected of Floth Pty Ltd under the management and instruction of a Senior Engineer.
  • Attending project and client sites and performing measurements, calibrations, data logging, evaluation, analysis, and visual observations and to determine and supervise resources required to ensure project completion, on time, within budget, achieving project goals and client requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, using standard procedures/checklists and ensuring all documentation has been reviewed and approved prior to being issued.
  • Cooperate with all measures introduced by management to minimise Workplace Health and Safety (WPHS) risks.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS), IMS Policy and IMS Training Requirements.

Professional Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven track record in effective problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
