About the team

Working collaboratively with the team Director and Senior Managers within the Partner Services team, you will be responsible for providing our partners and retired partners a mixture of accounting, advisory and tax services.

About the role

You will need to be able to liaise directly with the partners and retired partners. To review year-end financial statements, tax return and solve tax compliance issues. You will have the opportunity to discuss year-end tax planning and general business advice.

You will also be required to manage a team and collaborate to provide these services.

This is a pivotal role that requires confidentiality, professionalism and integrity. We are looking for someone who can build rapport and trust with the owners of the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns.
  • Preparing and reviewing Business Activity Statements and Income Activity Statements.
  • Assisting with year-end tax planning and compliance.
  • Providing team members with ‘on the job’ training.
  • Preparation and delivery of performance reviews for any direct reports.

  • CA or CPA qualified accountant with various years’ experience working in a professional service firm.
  • Commitment to confidentiality; and
  • Due to the fast paced environment, you show strong planning and organisational skills.
