This opportunity
This role will work with a variety of different stakeholders across the business to harness Vodafone’s customer data to help identify commercial growth opportunities. Your work will have a direct impact on shaping the future of TPG customers and will help shape key commercial business decisions and activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong database / technical skills, be naturally analytical and curious about data and demonstrate a passion to turn analysis into actionable insights. Most important, is the ability to apply logical and structured thinking to new problems and ambiguity and to leverage your commercial acumen to help refine your analysis and work.
Responsibilities
Analyse and interpret large, complex datasets to reveal trends and correlations Work with key stakeholders to gather the right insights about competitor and market behaviour Examine customer behaviour using internal datasets Driving development of machine learning techniques to model customer behaviour and preferences Using historic data and relevant statistical frameworks to forecast key trends and predict future events Continue to build out and update industry knowledge on data analytics and leverage into daily work Support more junior members in the team and coach them if necessary, around data interrogation or analysis Investigate performance of current products and translate insights into specific improvement suggestions / new feature proposals Assist your manager to drive the right revenue forecasts for the companyKnowledge & Experience
Experience in solving large analytical problems using statistical, predictive analytical models or other quantitative methods Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets, understanding data structures, testing for data quality is essential Fluency in SQL database interrogation with solid programming skills (e.g. Python) and script writing Good team working attitude with the ability to work proactively under own initiative in a fast paced environment Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to advise and manage your projects autonomously This position is suited to someone with a strong data background and an interest in commercialBenefits and perks
