Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for ICT software and hardware that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate the technology needs of various business units.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance assessments and risk management.
  • Monitor market trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in procurement.
  • Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff.

The Successful Applicant

  • Professional certification in procurement e.g. CIPS, is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in ICT procurement, with a focus on software and hardware for business operations and enterprise technology.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
