POSITION OVERVIEW
The HR Advisor’s role serves as a critical liaison between management and employees, ensuring the smooth functioning of human resources activities. Primarily, the purpose lies in implementing and overseeing HR policies and procedures, supporting recruitment, conducting training, managing employee relations and enforcing compliance with legal regulations. Their tasks involve fostering a positive work environment, handling administrative tasks and offering assistance to employees with various HR-related matters. Overall, the role aims to contribute to an efficient and harmonious workplace by effectively managing and supporting all human resources functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and employment matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment, including job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Support managers with performance management, offering advice on feedback, development plans, and employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate and deliver training and development programs, promoting continuous professional growth and supporting career progression within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, workplace regulations, and internal policies, identifying areas for improvement and keeping the business up to date on legislative changes.
- Manage employee records and HR systems, ensuring data accuracy for reporting and HR metrics analysis.
- Collaborate on HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and overall workplace culture.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Work Experience – at least 2-4 years in human resources or related fields
- Recruitment Experience – demonstrated experience in the recruitment process, including interviewing and selection
- Employee Relations – hands-on experience in handling employee issues and conflict resolution
- Training and Development – exposure to creating and delivering training programs
- HR Policies – experience in developing, updating and implementing HR policies
- Data Analysis – capability to interpret HR metrics and draw meaningful insights
- Compliance Management – proven track record of ensuring legal and policy compliance
- Technology – proficiency in HR software and systems for data management
