**Role Responsibilities**
- As part of a shared services team, contribute to and engage in national strategies to manage and improve safety, security and wellbeing.
- Provide specialist advice on matters including: editorial and broadcast risks, health, wellbeing, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, driving, office-related injuries and fatigue.
- Coordinate the core wellbeing awareness program, including webinars, promotion of wellbeing tools and key staff wellness campaigns.
- Maintain injury management procedures including collaborating with injury and claims management service providers to address workers compensation related matters across our different insurance schemes.
- Continue to improve our return to work programs, including acting as an internal point of contact for injury management support to People Connect and coaching leaders in RTW practices.
- Partner with business leaders and staff in your assigned business area to raise awareness of and build accountability for managing health, safety and wellbeing risks.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections.
- Actively monitor and analyse health and safety performance and contribute to the development of appropriate interventions based on effectiveness trends and gap analysis.

**Skills and Experience**
- Coordinating and delivering safety, wellbeing and health programs.
- Injury management and return to work program coordination.
- Building effective relationships as a business partner, with relevant and multiple stakeholders across teams, departments or companies.
- Proven ability in coordinating and delivering health and wellbeing programs as part of a health and safety program.
- Proven capability in developing return to work approaches and risk and injury prevention assessments.
- Sound third party vendor management skills, including partnering with insurance providers.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in health and safety proprietary software; such as MyOSH or similar safety reporting platforms, as well as SolvInjury (or similar), and Google Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrable skills as a strong team player, able to work in a matrixed or shared services environment in a complex organisation.
- Sound judgement and independent problem-solving.
- High levels of self-motivation, time management, attention to detail and accuracy.
