About the role.. 

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our friendly Royal Rehab Private Petersham team. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to patients in the hospital. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant difference to our patient’s rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing patient care within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Promoting the development of therapeutic relationships with the aim of facilitating the patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Supporting the objectives and philosophy of the hospital.
• Contributing to the person's rehabilitation goals in accordance with Royal Rehab Private Petersham Hospital's vision, purpose and values.
• Supervising the activities of the Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing with their nursing care.

About you.. 

We are seeking a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Previous Rehabilitation /surgical/ medical/ experience.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to participate within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Demonstrated ability to use computer software.
