Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and PHP, with hands-on experience in using Elementor or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn proprietary software and provide support when needed.
  • Skilled and confident in client interaction, capable of handling direct client communication post-training.
  • Proficiency in basic Search Engine Optimization techniques and implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Alignment with company culture and relevant attributes.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience in WordPress back-end development, REST API integration, and module customization.
  • Leadership qualities and potential to take on a team leader role in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and liaising with clients to understand website design and functionality requirements.
  • Designing and building websites, including creating the website architecture.
  • Managing the website back-end, including database and server integration.
  • Generating WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
  • Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Providing WordPress training to clients as necessary.
  • Monitoring the performance of live websites and ensuring smooth functioning.

Potential for Team Leader Role: There is an opportunity for the selected candidate to transition into a team leader role within our local team in the future. This option will be considered 3 to 6 months down the track based on the candidate's performance, leadership potential, and ability to meet project objectives effectively.
