About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our remote team on a part-time basis (20 hours/weekly). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced WordPress developer to work with a reputable company and contribute to delivering exceptional web solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to understand website design and functionality requirements, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Design and build websites, including creating the website architecture, leveraging extensive expertise in WordPress development.
  • Manage the website back-end, including database and server integration, guaranteeing smooth operation and high performance.
  • Create custom WordPress themes and plugins as needed, utilizing hands-on experience with Elementor or similar tools.
  • Conduct thorough website performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal user experience.
  • Deliver comprehensive WordPress training to clients, empowering them to effectively manage their websites.
  • Monitor live websites, ensuring timely issue resolution and continuous performance improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a senior WordPress developer, ideally with 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and PHP, with hands-on experience in using Elementor or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics, coupled with excellent design skills.
  • Able to efficiently manage projects, work autonomously with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle direct client communication post-training.
  • Familiarity with basic Search Engine Optimization techniques and implementation, ensuring optimized website performance.
