About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the NHMRC-funded CycLink Partnership Project, which aims to improve cycling participation for children and young people with disabilities. You will collaborate with diverse partners across academia, health, and government sectors, gaining valuable experience in research implementation and evaluation. This role offers a dynamic and supportive team environment where your contributions will drive meaningful change in local communities and enhance your professional development in the field.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with the CycLink Partnership Project team in research activities, including ethics, governance, data collection, analysis, and reporting. Recruit eligible participants, conduct follow-up assessments, and perform qualitative interviews with participants, families, and staff. Ensure data integrity and provide timely feedback to families after assessments. Communicate with research and partner teams, coordinating meetings and contributing to high-quality presentations and publications.

Who We Are Looking For
Our ideal candidate is one who is motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaboration, driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people with disabilities. They should have a knowledge of the paediatrics and/or disability fields, and ideally will have experience in ethics and governance, data collection and management, including qualitative data, as well as project management experience.

You Will Also Have:

A tertiary degree or equivalent combination of study and relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience in conducting effectiveness or implementation research studies. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve project goals.
