Key Responsibilities:
- Subcontractor Management
- Orchestrate workflow and issue instructions with precision
- Master purchase order creation and invoice reconciliation
- Champion compliance and variation management
- Tackle contractual disputes head-on
- Procurement Management
- Cultivate relationships with top-tier subcontractors
- Negotiate rates that benefit all parties
- Streamline the on-boarding process
- Maintain an up-to-date subcontractor register
- Commercial Reporting
- Craft insightful cost reports and forecasts
- Implement robust cost control measures
- 3-4 years of post-graduate experience in contract administration or quantity surveying
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction/Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying
- Road construction experience preferred
- Proficiency in Team Binder, SharePoint, and MS Office
- Strong communicator who thrives in a team environment
- Customer-focused with a commitment to service quality
- Safety-conscious and dedicated to continuous improvement
- Australian resident or citizen
- Ability to navigate complex contractual landscapes
- Keen eye for detail in financial management
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Adaptability in a fast-paced construction environment
