About the role:

We are looking for an contracts administrator to manage contractual obligations of principal contractors and subcontractors, ensuring our client’s contract requirements and CDC’s company policies and procedures are observed and applied.

Key responsibilities include:

•       Understand all commercial aspects of construction contracts and identify areas of financial risk.

•       Procurement of subcontractors and negotiation of commercial terms in accordance with company protocols.

•       Ensure all contract obligations are met within policy and procedure; including tracking of milestones, payments and reporting while maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders.

•       Liaise with Managers and relevant stakeholders on day-to-day matters and milestones via phone, e-mail and meetings as required.

•       Ensure contract financial administration and tracking is carried out within the relevant policies and specific allocated project budget.

•       Undertake administrative contract management tasks as required e.g. processing contract variations, project specifications, progress and final reports, input and analysis of data into the financial and contract management system.

•       Preparation of head contract progress claims.

•       Cost control management.

•       Support the preparation, review and response to contractual correspondence.

•       Maintain all necessary registers, contractual documentation and templates.

•       Other duties as direction from time to time.

About you: 

•       Demonstrable experience as a Contracts Administrator, working on large multi-disciplined construction projects.

•       Demonstrable commercial acumen obtained in the commercial property or industrial / services sector.

•       Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

•       Ability to negotiate, influence and resolve conflict.

Essential:

• Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Security Clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level.
