As our Lead Educator you are essential part of our team You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and lead your assistant educators to deliver play-based educational programs and practices that supports the development of young minds. You will provide a safe, creative, responsive and nurturing environment that engages our children and encourages them to investigate, explore and extend on their current skills. 

Sparrow Early Learning Ashgrove is our brand-new state-of-the-art Service The service consists of 6 studios, 89 licensed places, separate programming room, staff retreat area and stunning outdoor playscapes with views over Brisbane CBD and beyond. This location is perfect for our team and families with access to a gym, Pilates, medical and great food selections in walking distance and public transport right at the door..

What you’ll need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Play-based Child-led pedagogy 
  • A vibrant energy and proven experience in either the 0-2 year or 3-5 year age groups. 
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent communication & leadership skills
  • Experience with Storypark is a bonus 
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
