ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is an industry leading brand who dominate their place in the Australian market. Currently hiring a brand new Insights Manager role.

DUTIES
As an Insights Manager the core responsibilities of your role will cover:

  • Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to understand and consult around Customer, Marketing, Digital and Product strategy requirements.

  • Delivering against ongoing requests from the business for timely and accurate ad-hoc data driven insights to support strategic initiatives.

  • Present the results of your investigations to senior stakeholders across the business, gaining strategic business buy-in to ensure your recommendations are rolled out into operation.

SKILLS
You will come with strong experience working in a complex consumer data driven environment, where managing and manipulating complex SQL data sets to uncover strategic insights has been a key focus. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong technical skills using SQL, Python or R to extract, manipulate and merge large volumes of data.

  • Extracting key insights from large volumes of data to drive strategy.

  • Strong understanding of Statistics and Probability (i.e. Significance testing , T-test and/or P-Values).

  • Data Visualisation skills in Tableau or PowerBI

  • Claims Development Triangle

  • Actuarial degree
