Salary ranges from $149,686 plus super (based on experience)

About You:

With a minimum of five years of experience in operating and managing a production site or production services, you bring extensive expertise in the procurement and delivery of capital work projects, focusing on value, risk, probity, and contractual issues. Your strong leadership skills and strategic thinking are complemented by a solid background in managing both Opex and Capex financial performance, applying governance oversight, and delivering and implementing business cases. With tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, you possess certifications or operational knowledge in Lean principles. Additionally, you have a proven track record in extensive project management and hold a ‘C’ class driver's license as travel will be required.

About the role:

As the Production Services Manager, you will oversee key asset management functions, including addressing business risks such as public liability and bushfires. You will handle stakeholder engagement for public access to Hydro Tasmania’s land and water, covering areas like campgrounds, picnic grounds, recreational lakes, and exclusion zones. You will ensure effective maintenance and operational activities on roads, bridges, access ways, and vegetation. The role involves providing governance oversight for the delivery of the Production Services Programme and maintaining a sustainable portfolio for the Assets & Infrastructure team. Additionally, you will oversee the development, sale, or transfer of Hydro Tasmania Group land holdings and implement the management policy framework across the organisation.
