School Services Officer

St Kieran's Catholic Primary School, Manly Vale is currently seeking an energetic and passionate School Services Officer (level 4). The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity (6 hours per fortnight, 09:00am to 03:00pm) to start on 12 December 2024. The required day for work is one Thursday of every fortnight.

Specific Criteria
- Be highly effective, skilled administration services/support officer with experience in a busy dynamic office environment
- Work collaboratively with the senior admin officer and school service team
- Possess high level interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, student, parents/carers and community members
- Be familiar with various software packages which may include but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Compass
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
- Be task focused with attention to detail and flexibility regarding duties
- Be able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community
- Have a valid First Aid Certificate (desirable)

- Knowledge in use of Compass

New position on COVID-19 vaccinations
Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022. Staff who are not vaccinated will be required to wear masks when working with children at greater risk of serious illness owing to a medical condition and/or physical disability.
