About the Role

We are looking for a passionate person who will work closely with BOQ Groups customers and assess applications for Financial Assistance in line with regulatory timeframes with full consideration given to the customer’s circumstances.

As an assessor you will encompass good credit assessment strategies whilst at the same time ensuring the customers circumstances are at the forefront of every interaction and decision, while adhering to our Financial Hardship Assistance processes from start to finish with efficiency and an understanding of our customers.

You will be required to support the assessment from start to finish across all Brands and Products at BOQ Group for Retail, Commercial and Equipment Financial hardship applications whilst being mindful of the bank's position & risk. Whilst withholding our regulatory timeframes by ensuring that assessments are completed within 21 days of the date of the Hardship application. Ensure quality service and support to our customers and internal and external stakeholders including our Branch network, Broker Networks, and Financial Counsellors.

To be successful in this role, you will have the below skills, knowledge, and experience. You, our ideal candidate will have previous banking experience, preferrable lending support experience (assessing) and a proven history of working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
