Rostering Coordinator

MAYDAY Recruitment is proud to partner with an established Not-For Profit to recruit a temporary Rostering Coordinator for their team in Western Sydney. This fast-paced role gives the opportunity to support with rostering functions and queries from clients and employees.

- Monday - Friday, full time hours (37.5 hours per week).
- Flexibility to work between 7am – 6pm (7.5 hours per day).
- Fully office-based role. Learn from experienced team members with face-face training and ongoing support.
- Up to $40 p/h + super, depending on experience.
The role:
- Act as the first point of contact for home care services across NSW.
- Be responsible for rostering support across Greater Sydney’s 400 services.
- Update and modify rosters to reflect changes in availability, leave, sickness, or other unplanned absences.
- Allocate shifts to staff based on availability, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining a balance of work hours.
- Coordinate with Recruitment Agencies to ensure last-minute shifts are filled.
- Liaise with department managers and supervisors to understand staffing needs and resolve any issues related to shift allocations.
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding shifts, availability, or schedule changes.
- Communicate efficiently with various stakeholders and business divisions as required.
The ideal candidate:
- Proven experience using Carelink+ and TANDA is highly desired.
- Previous experience within a fast-paced, rostering role is essential.
- Working rights within Australia.
- A Police check and Working with Children Check will be required if successful for this role.
