About the role:

As NAC continues to progress, we are now seeking an experienced CHPP Maintenance Planner to join the CHPP Maintenance Team on a permanent, full-time basis.  Working a Monday to Friday and reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, the CHPP Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in maintaining equipment reliability and availability to ensure optimal performance of the Coal Handling Processing Plant.

What you will do:

  • Provide preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability
  • Review job requests to determine suitability for acceptance into planning cycle
  • Contribute to short term and long term planning strategies
  • Allocate resources to maximise productivity
  • Comply with site procedures to ensure safe and consistent delivery of the CHPP production targets
  • Identify and contribute to CHPP improvement processes as required
  • Comply with New Hope Group’s Health, Safety and Environmental procedures at all times

To be considered for these opportunities you will bring:

  • Trade Qualifications within the Mechanical or Electrical Engineering fields
  • Experience in CHPP or processing plant operations
  • Previous planning experience and experience with computer maintenance management systems
  • Highly developed communication and task management skills
  • Ability to focus on long-term solutions, through ongoing innovation, improved maintenance costs and workplace strategies
