**The Opportunity**
- The Planner is responsible for supporting the Comms Technology Systems team by providing scheduling and planning expertise to current and future work supporting primarily the Rail Infrastructure team but also the wider Rail Systems team.
**Key responsibilities include.**
- Development of detailed project schedules in accordance with the project scope of works and in accordance with UGL PMO requirements.
- Work with the project team on assessing and reporting on progress in accordance with the contract documentation and Project standards and procedures.
- Assist in the development of internal and external monthly reports including Safety, Scheduling, Variations, Earned Value and Commercial.
- Maintain and update the project status between P6, FSM, SAP and FPM and other UGL reporting and Planning tools.
- Assist with the development of detailed project schedules in accordance with the project scope of works.
- Producing preliminary tenders project programs in accordance with the procedures and tender documentation.
- Work with the project team on development and maintenance of project s-curves and resource curves.
- Effective short and long-term planning whilst facilitating the ongoing maintaining, coordinating and monitoring of the design, procurement and construction.
**Requirements to be successful.**
- Degree in Engineering or similar degree qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Planning role supporting large infrastructure projects within exposure to transport projects
- Hands on experience in Primavera P6
