The Role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate, results driven Associate Director of Sales or Senior Business Development Manager (depending on experience) to join our Sales team, based at our Sydney Airport Hotel.
This is an exciting opportunity for a positive sales focused individual wanting to develop their career and take on a new challenge within the Hotel and Events industry. The primary purpose of the role is to:
Identify and develop new business opportunities from Corporate, C&E, MICE and leisure market segments. Maintain relationships with existing clients and stakeholders through efficient account management Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with research, analysis of results, compilation of monthly reports Support the team with customer service and telemarketing new and existing clients when required Assist with local area marketing promotions and sales activity at expos, conferences and conventions as required. Maintain accurate and up to date data in the CRM database.What are we looking for
A well-presented, self-motivated Sales professional with strong people and negotiation skills. Capable of working in a fast paced environment, under pressure and able to meet deadlines and achieve our business objectives Excellent written and communication skills Tertiary qualification in Business or Sales Management is desirable Proficient with MS Office products, social media and general computer skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage a variety of projects Experience with Sales software systems such as Sales Force Delphi, Opera Previous experience working within Sales & Marketing, Events or a Hotel environment is desirable Passion for Hotels and HospitalityThe successful candidate must have
Experience in a similar role within hotels, events or travel industry; Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales Management or related field; Strong research and analytical skills; Strong sales and negotiation skills; Mastery in Microsoft Office applications; Intermediate knowledge of Sales Force/Delphi (CRM) and Opera Reservation system; Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent standards of personal presentation and grooming; Ability to travel on a regular basis as well as a holder of current NSW Drivers License; And most importantly - the ability to be a Team Player with a positive and 'can do' attitude.About the Benefits
