Jacobs ports and maritime team are growing. We are looking for a Principal Maritime Design Manager to join us in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth. In your role as a Principal Maritime Design Manager your leadership in project delivery of multidisciplinary maritime projects will be of key importance. You will exercise sound judgement and initiative while undertaking both your project delivery responsibilities and design tasks. You will be capable of directing large design teams on major projects, developing, designing, and facilitating the documentation of complex maritime engineering and port planning solutions to exceed client expectations. Your focus will be in the areas of maritime infrastructure planning and design, engaging with senior engineers and technical leaders, supporting junior members of the team, delivering outputs and packages for small, medium and large multidisciplinary projects. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Maritime team, and the wider Jacobs team across multiple disciplines, including mentoring of less experienced staff, leading bids and marketing to external and internal clients. You will be involved in a range of project delivery models. You will also integrate into the Maritime team, supporting the team initiatives and being fully inclusive of team members in other geographies.
