Tasks & responsibilities

  • Carry out service and repairs and maintenance work to utes, tippers, vans, vac-trucks, heavy vehicles, excavators, loaders as well as trailers and all other mechanical equipment
  • Travelling for on site breakdowns
  • Maintain detailed records of each machine including any maintenance, inspections or repair services performed
  • Organising your own jobs and parts ordering

Qualifications & experience

  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or a related field.
  • Competent in auto electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Must have a valid NSW Drivers Licence and a minimum of a HR Truck Licence
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
