When international air cargo touches down in Australia, we’re there to get it the rest of the way to its destination. Our interstate trucking services cover the domestic legs of international airfreight operations, driving between all the major cities from our hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Perth and Adelaide.

In 2008, Qantas Freight Enterprises bought Jets Transport. Today we operate as a wholly owned but independently managed business. As a Full-time Long Distance Driver, based at Adelaide Airport, you will drive heavy vehicles over long distances, predominantly performing change over work with our Melbourne Driver in Nhill.

This role normally departs no later than 7:00pm, completing the changeover and returning to Adelaide. Occasionally, you would be required to drive straight to Melbourne or Sydney.

To be successful in this position you’ll have:

  • A MC drivers licence
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster and the ability to work night shifts
  • A clean driving record
  • High attention to detail and focus on safety.
  • Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
