About the Role

This full-time position involves driving a truck over long distances to collect and deliver packages to various locations across the region. You will be required to work independently with minimal supervision, using your own initiative and judgment to resolve any issues that may arise during your daily tasks.

In addition to your driving skills, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing your time effectively, and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a truck over long distances to collect and deliver packages to various locations across the region;
  • Maintain accurate records of your daily activities, including mileage, hours worked, and any incidents or issues that may arise;
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure timely completion of your daily tasks;
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to resolve any issues or concerns;
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum MR licence and a valid Australian driver's licence;
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry;
  • Ability to pass a Driving Assessment, Criminal History Check, and Pre-Employment Fitness Assessment;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers;
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, if required;
