Job Description:

Mars Food has an exciting opportunity to join our team as Brand Manager on a 9 month contract basis, based in Sydney CBD or Wyong locations. Reporting to the Portfolio Marketing Manager, in this highly varied role, you will work closely with other members of the Marketing Team on key strategic projects from data and insight led strategy, to idea generation, concept development, budget management, product design, pack design, brand and market positioning, and more
 

Mars Food Australia has an incredible range of brands that exist in a number of categories and partitions with several thousand points of purchase. Given a mix of global and local brands you’ll be flexible to wear many hats on a daily basis to balance elements and stakeholders. In this role, you’ll use your brand experience to support the our ambition of ‘Better Food Today, Better World Tomorrow’.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor of Business (preferably in Marketing)

Minimum 2 years Brand Manager experience or other relevant marketing/category experience.

Specific experience in Food industry and/ or fuelling FMCG innovation pipelines via NPD strongly preferred.

Ability work in a highly agile and dynamic environment, nimbly switching between projects while remaining organised and focused on the long-term vision

What will be your key responsibilities·

Financial delivery: Responsible for Portfolio Targets for the DOLMIO and KanTong brands. Lead the management and development of the portfolio range and manage performance.

Brand & Category Strategy: Responsible for driving a leadership position within Italian and Cooking Sauces by delivering category growth through strong partnerships cross functionally, as well as with key customers. Responsible for development of the annual growth plans as well as the overarching 3 year portfolio strategy.

Comms strategy: Responsible for development and deployment of integrated communications planning leveraging creative excellence.

Innovation Management:  Responsible for developing the innovation pipeline for the portfolio, from concept ideation to launch. This includes innovation, renovation and value creation projects.

Stakeholder Management: This role requires global & regional brand team interaction: leveraging relevant global strategies and learnings and sharing local resources to accelerate the DOLMIO brand and Italian portfolio.
