We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a JJ’s Storeperson, you will perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties, including operation of machinery and manual handling tasks at the Mackay Health & Hygiene distribution centre.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to load and unload collection vehicles, manage the safe handling and storage of medical waste, wash bins and perform other general housekeeping tasks.
You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet / equipment, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
You will enjoy family friendly hours – no more long haul, DIDO or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends Early starts (between 4-6am) and early finishes.

ABOUT YOU
- Current C Class drivers licence (MR Class licence advantageous but not essential)
- Forklift Ticket (Essential)
- Have knowledge of care and safe operation of equipment
- Commit to JJ’s Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity
- Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
- Well-developed people and relationship skills
